LEAF Marque is an environmental assurance system recognising sustainably farmed products such as fruit and vegetables, cereals, beef and lamb, horticulture, dairy, poultry and viticulture. Produce identified with a LEAF Marque logo indicates it has been through an assurance scheme that means it has been produced by farmers whilst caring for the environment.
The scheme is based on the LEAF Marque Standard which is an industry-recognised global environmental standard. It is a requirement that the producer is a certified full member of an appropriate assurance scheme for each enterprise on the farm.
Applicant CABs will need to apply for a free myLEAF user account and request in-Service updates to become a LEAF Marque CAB. LEAF will then provide access to the required scheme documents and application forms.
As this is a product scheme (and LEAF requires such compliance), applicants also need to comply with ISO/IEC 17065:2012 – Conformity assessment - Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services.
- Helps producers demonstrate that they produce safe, high quality, environmentally responsible food.
- Provides producers with a genuine commercial advantage in the demanding premium and assured food markets.
An application pack, application form and other relevant material is not available on this site. These documents are available through our SharePoint portal. If you are a body that we currently accredit, you can access this information through the Shared CAB Portal. If you are a new applicant, please complete an application enquiry form. Once this form is submitted, the Secretariat will contact you to advise the next steps. For other stakeholders, please submit your inquiry through the online feedback form.
