Registered Automotive Workshop Scheme

The Registered Automotive Workshop Scheme (RAWS) ensures that automotive workshops which modify imported used vehicles comply with the Australian Design Rules, under the Registered Automotive Workshop Scheme.

The certification standard is based on ISO 9001:2000, plus additional requirements as described in the Guide to the Registered Automotive Workshop Scheme, published by the  the Australian federal government's Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government. The scheme is administered by Department of Infrastructure.

The following provides links to the accreditation application pack documentation for conformity assessment bodies (CABs). All policies and procedures are un-controlled when printed. Please read all appropriate accreditation requirements and when ready provide a completed application (with signatures, appropriate application fee, and documentation set) for review.
