General Practice Accreditation Scheme

The General Practice Accreditation* scheme assists general practices in Australia in meeting standards of safety and quality as outlined in the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners’ (RACGP) Standards for General Practices. Certification to this standard enables the general practice to participate in the Australian government’s Practice Incentives Program (PIP).

(*Note that term “accreditation” in the context of this scheme would normally be termed "certification" in other JAS-ANZ schemes).

Accreditation Application Pack

The following provides links to the accreditation application pack documentation for conformity assessment bodies (CABs). All policies and procedures are un-controlled when printed. Please read all appropriate accreditation requirements and when ready provide a completed application (with signatures, appropriate application fee, and documentation set) for review.

If you require further information please contact us.
