The Disability Employment Services (DES) Scheme was introduced by the Australian federal government's Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA) to ensure that providers of disability employment services have management systems in place to improve the quality of services and achieve better outcomes for consumers. Through the scheme the department is seeking to ensure that people with disabilities can seek assistance and support from a range of Australian government funded employment services who are certified against the disability services standards. Accreditation Application Pack The following provides links to the accreditation application pack documentation for conformity assessment bodies (CABs). All policies and procedures are un-controlled when printed. Please read all appropriate accreditation requirements and when ready provide a completed application (with signatures, appropriate application fee, and documentation set) for review.
