Australian Forest Certification Scheme

The Australian Forest Certification Scheme (AFCS) enables forest managers to independently demonstrate that native forests and plantations across Australia are subject to sustainable management practices.

The AFCS certifies to the Australian Forestry Standard (AS/NZS 4708:2007), which is Australia’s leading forestry standard, and is endorsed by the world’s biggest assessor of sustainable forest management, the Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).
