Designated Audit Agency Scheme

The Designated Audit Agency scheme has been developed by the New Zealand Ministry of Health to ensure that hospitals, rest homes and residential disability care facilities provide safe and reasonable levels of service for consumers, as required under the Health and Disability Service (Safety) Act 2001.

The following provides links to the accreditation criteria, accreditation application pack documentation, and other related documents. All policies and procedures are un-controlled when printed. Please read all appropriate accreditation criteria, Procedure 5 (accreditation process), and when ready provide a completed application (with signatures, appropriate application fee, and documentation set) for review.
